KHI KHI, Do you love me?
A collaboration with Awara Parinday. This mural is located in Karachi, my hometown. This is not a political commentary. It is an act of patriotism.
The current state of the mural features the face of the likeness of a former Pakistani cricket captain and current Prime minister, after the Drake song lyrics were covered months later. I assume that it was because they found those words offensive when associated to the world leader, when they were really just lyrics to a Drake song. If that is the case, both the acts of painting and defacing the mural were apparently rooted in Patriotism.
