Murals

Revitalizing Newcastle (2017) - My first mural in Australia. While working out of the Roost Creative, I was awarded a commission to paint on the building's façade. This is a very special project to me because it reinforces my human need to represent the underrepresented. Marcus Westbury's initiative to transform Hunter Street Mall through activating abandoned shops as temporary spaces for makers and small businesses needed to be celebrated.

Reminiscent of Newcastle's past, I used bright colors to represent a vivid time in the City of Newcastle, and glorified Marcus Westbury in a larger than life mural located on Market Street Square in Hunter Street Mall.

A commission by the High Commission of Pakistan to paint a mural on its façade. This was a huge honor.

The painting depicts Pakistan's national poet, Allama Iqbal, and the first governor general and founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah. This is a tribute to a struggle that made me a Pakistani.

A new place in the heart of Mt Pleasant obviously meant we needed some wall art. I took this opportunity to experiment with light filters and getting double images in my murals.
