Revitalizing Newcastle

While working out of the Roost Creative, I was awarded a commission to paint on the building's façade. This is a very special project to me because it reinforces my human need to represent the underrepresented. Marcus Westbury's initiative to transform Hunter Street Mall through activating abandoned shops as temporary spaces for makers and small businesses needed to be celebrated.

Reminiscent of Newcastle's past, I used bright colors to represent a vivid time in the City of Newcastle, and glorified Marcus Westbury in a larger than life mural located on Market Street Square in Hunter Street Mall.
